FAQ & contact

The questions people ask most, especially if it's your first leather event.

Questions

I'm new to leather. Is this event for me?

Yes. Contest nights are one of the most welcoming ways into the community. You'll see people of all experience levels, and nobody expects you to know the customs.

Do I have to wear leather? What should I wear?

No. Leather and gear are welcome but never required. Wear something you feel good in. [Add any venue dress rules here.]

How old do I need to be?

This is a [19+] event. Bring government photo ID; you'll need it at the door.

Where do I buy tickets?

Tickets are sold on Eventbrite. Refund terms are listed on the Eventbrite page.

Can I take photos?

[State your photo policy, e.g. photos of the stage are fine; photos of audience members only with their permission.] Always ask before photographing anyone.

Is the venue accessible?

See accessibility at the venue, or email us with any request.

How do I enter the contest?

Everything is on the contest page: who can enter, how judging works, and how to register.

Who organizes Mr. Lake Ontario Leather?

A volunteer Production Team from the leather community, led by producer Michael Tattersall. Read more about us.

Who can compete?

Contestants must be male or male-identifying, 21 or older, live or work in the Lake Ontario watershed in Canada or the USA, and hold a valid passport. The full requirements are in the contest rules.
